Levels of Authenticity

Every putter submitted to the BEAZZ Custom Shop for verification undergoes a detailed examination process.
Once authentication is complete, the owner will receive official documentation reflecting the verified status of the putter.

For qualifying putters, BEAZZ issues a printed Certificate of Authentic Craft (COA) and creates a permanent archival record, including photographic evidence, within the BEAZZ Authentication Registry.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certificate Class A — Original Craft Status

A putter is awarded Certificate Class A when it fully preserves its original BEAZZ identity.

This classification confirms that the putter remains exactly as produced by BEAZZ, or that any customization or restoration was carried out exclusively by the BEAZZ Custom Shop / Putter Studio.

To qualify for Class A, none of the following elements may have been altered outside of BEAZZ:

  • Putter head shape or geometry

  • Stamping, engraving, or identifying marks

  • Surface finish or material treatment

  • Head weight or balance

  • Paintfill execution

  • Shaft specification

  • Grip specification

A putter meeting all criteria is recognized as a fully authentic BEAZZ creation.

Documentation & Security

Each Class A putter receives:

  • A printed COA with a red border

  • Photographic documentation of the authenticated putter

  • An embossed raised BEAZZ seal

  • A tamper-resistant authentication hologram

  • A unique registry identification number beginning with “A”

This registry number allows verification through the BEAZZ online authentication database.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certificate Class B — Minor Alteration Status

A putter is classified as Certificate Class B when it originates from BEAZZ but has undergone limited aftermarket modification that does not alter the core structure of the putter.

Examples of changes that result in Class B status include aftermarket modifications to:

  • Paintfill

  • Shaft

  • Grip

While the putter remains fundamentally authentic, these changes prevent it from qualifying as fully original.

Documentation & Security

Class B putters receive:

  • A printed COA with a yellow border

  • Photographs clearly showing the current configuration

  • Written notation describing all identified alterations

  • An embossed BEAZZ seal

  • An authentication hologram

  • A registry number beginning with “B”

All records are stored and accessible through the BEAZZ Authentication Registry.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certificate Class C — Major Modification Status

A putter receives Certificate Class C when it has been subjected to substantial aftermarket modification not performed by the BEAZZ Custom Shop.

This includes, but is not limited to, changes affecting:

  • Putter shape or structural form

  • Surface finish

  • Stamping or engravings

  • Head weight or balance

These modifications significantly alter the original BEAZZ specifications, though the base putter itself remains genuine.

Documentation & Security

Class C putters are issued:

  • A COA with a blue border

  • Comprehensive written disclosure of all detected modifications

  • An embossed BEAZZ seal

  • A security hologram

  • A registry number beginning with “C”

Verification remains available through the BEAZZ Authentication Registry.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No Certificate Issued — NC01

Trademark or Intellectual Property Infringement

If a submitted putter contains unauthorized markings, stamps, or symbols that infringe upon BEAZZ trademarks or intellectual property—and were not applied by the BEAZZ Custom Shop—it is ineligible for certification.

Examples include counterfeit logos or protected symbols added in the aftermarket.

In such cases:

  • No COA is issued

  • The owner receives an official notice with a green border

  • The notice states that the putter contains infringing modifications

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No Certificate Issued — NC02

Counterfeit Determination

A putter determined to be non-genuine—meaning it was not manufactured by BEAZZ and has no legitimate association with the brand—is classified as NC02.

For counterfeit submissions:

  • No COA is issued

  • The owner receives a formal notice with a gray border stating the counterfeit finding

Owners who unknowingly acquire counterfeit products are encouraged to consult BEAZZ resources regarding counterfeit awareness and prevention.

Closing Principle

BEAZZ authentication exists to protect craftsmanship, collectors, and the long-term integrity of the brand.
Each classification reflects documented reality, not preference or condition—ensuring transparency, trust, and provenance for every verified putter.
